2017 Conference Set for Boston!

2017 Conference Set for Boston!

2017-conference-logoWe’ve long pushed for a collaborative conference among leading organizations supporting independent locally-owned businesses, localization and related causes, so we’re thrilled to announce it finally will happen in June 2017! The Sustainable Business Alliance of Massachusetts (an AMIBA affiliate) has a strong history of hosting successful conferences and will present the Local Sustainable Economies Conference June 7 – 9. in Boston. AMIBA will co-sponsor the event and help in crafting an agenda to serve the needs of grassroots business organizations, economic development professionals and all who work to help local entrepreneurs and thriving communities.

Rather than anyone feeling a need to choose between an AMIBA conference or the popular events hosted by the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies, SBN Massachusetts will be working with AMIBA, BALLE and other key organizations to incorporate the best of each. The gathering will feature outstanding speakers from leading local and national organizations. Like AMIBA’s own conferences, this event will not just inspire, but send you home with practical tools to improve and expand your work, solutions to challenges, and renewed energy. We urge you attend and bring board members with you to take full advantage of all the offerings.

AMIBA Affiliates Will Save $50 Per Person

AMIBA will provide $50 conference registration credits to AMIBA affiliates and Premium Business Members for up to two people per group or company. A total of 50 credits will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Affiliates’ and Premium Business Members’ dues must be fully paid at the time of registration and, yes, new affiliates also will enjoy this benefit!

Learn more and register here. We hope to see you in Boston!
