Banners point out local business

Pole banners erected along Guadalupe Street aren't your typical ads because they mark Austin 's first Independent Business Investment Zone.

The banners run from 29th to 32nd streets on Guadalupe to identify locally owned businesses. The Austin Independent Business Alliance wants to promote the importance of supporting local businesses.

Three more local Business Zones will be identified with similar banners in the upcoming months.
