|Hosted by Metro Independent Business Alliance|

The Twin Cities offer multitudes of attractions, historical sites, outdoor tours and activities along with vibrant shopping, art and restaurant districts to explore while attending the conference. We will be adding our recommendations and highlighting local favorites.
The conference will be held at the Radisson Plaza Hotel - Downtown Minneapolis
The Radisson, established in 1909, was acquired by Curt Carlson, a Minneapolis businessman and entrepreneur, in 1962. Carlson founded the Gold Bond Stamp Company and successfully pioneered the first customer loyalty program for grocery stores. He built the Carlson Company, headquartered in Minneapolis, which continues to operate as a family-owned hospitality and travel company and includes the Radisson Hotels. Carlson named his daughter, Marilyn Carlson Nelson, as his successor, and she currently serves as the company's Co-CEO, currently residing just went of the Twin Cities. See also the Radisson's statement detailing their "responsible and green" business practices.
A special thank you to the participants, exhibitors and presenters who contributed to the last bi-ennial conference in Louisville, Kentucky and gratitude to the Louisville Independent Business Alliance for a stellar job as a host. We can't wait to see you all again in the Twin Cities in 2014!
