 Events

Pre-Conference Social -- Indie by a Nose!  Thursday Evening
Meet your colleagues and prime your palate for a Louisville experience in the Jockey Silks Bourbon Bar -- on-site in the Galt House.  Enjoy local food specialties, local microbrew and wine offerings and relax after your day of travel.  Bourbon connoisseurs and novices:  Jockey Silks is a stop on the Urban Bourbon Trail, boasting the country’s largest selection of Kentucky Bourbons (more than 150!).

NuLu and Nu Ideas -- Friday Evening
We'll venture to the progressive NuLu district for light dinner and drinks at the Green Building, a LEED-certified renewal of a 110-year-old building at the heart of this up-and-coming area.  We'll hear from NuLu "mayor" Gill Holland about the transformation of the run-down East Market area of Louisville into a vibrant, green, locally-grown arts and commerce district.  You'll have the opportunity to get out and explore this area afterward (free trolley to downtown if you wish).

A Night on the Town -- Saturday Evening

Our location in the heart of downtown is the perfect launch pad to get out and explore area attractions, stroll the waterfront, find a souvenir, and satisfy your tastebuds.  This evening is unstructured, though some tour options will be offered.
